Clara A. Smith was tragically killed in a car accident when her vehicle collided with another car at an intersection. The impact caused her car to veer off the road and crash into a nearby structure, resulting in fatal injuries. Emergency services arrived quickly, but she was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the crash.
Clara A. Smith, beloved wife, daughter, and sister, tragically passed away in a car accident on Nov 3, 2019, at the age of 39. She was born and raised outside Rock Hill, S.C, a place that she always cherished, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Clara was married to her devoted husband, Eric Smith. Together, they built a beautiful life, filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Though Clara and Eric had no children, their home was always warm with joy and love, shared with family and friends.
Clara was the cherished daughter of Sam M. Owen and Belinda Owen, who remember her as a kind and compassionate soul with an infectious smile. She was also a beloved sister to her two brothers and one sister, with whom she shared a close bond throughout her life.
Clara's sudden passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family and friends, but her memory will continue to live on in the stories and moments she shared with those around her.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at Baker Funeral Home, located at 2008 N Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19121. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Clara touched are invited to join in remembering and celebrating her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Clara’s memory to a charity of your choice.
We are heartbroken to hear about Clara's passing. She was such a
bright light in this world, always full of kindness and warmth. Our
deepest condolences go out to Eric and the entire Owen family during
this incredibly difficult time. Please know that you are in our
